I have always loved fairy tales in my childhood. Although they all end happily ever after, they bring a world of fantasy and imagination to my life. I didn't start with the Disney version of fairy tale for most of them. I started with Grimm's version of fairy tale and then later on watched the Disney movies so I'm more influenced by Grimm's.
This is my version of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I've always seen her as an innocent girl who loves what is inside the heart and not the appearance. I wasn't sure if I've portrait it enough to look like belle without telling you but in the original version, the only key items were the mirror, the ring, and roses. I think the hardest thing to draw was the castle. It was so long to draw it XD. lol! Hope you like it!
Will you be at Anime Syracuse this year or perhaps Tora-con next year? If so I would love to buy a print of this! This picture is just simply amazing! <3
I looooove her dress! If only such a dress really existed! I also really like the background you used for the wall. The transition of colors from the yellow to violet is really nice. Great job!
Cool! Sure, that would be great if you upload them. Do people just tell you when they cosplay your art? It's so interesting because I thought people only cosplayed well known characters. I mean, some of these characters you draw are well-known, but the outfits are different and not well-known. Therefore, it's new to me that people would wear outfits based on other people's interpretation of a character. Sorry, I can't explain it very clearly, but I hope you know what I mean.
That would be lovely!
